1. World Diabetics Foundation-Denmark
The World Diabetes Foundation is dedicated to supporting prevention and treatment of diabetes in developing countries. We focus on the following areas:
• Awareness of diabetes
• Prevention of diabetes and its complications
• Education and training of patients and health care professionals
• Enhancement of detection, treatment and monitoring of diabetes
In addition to supporting general improvement of diabetics care, WDF currently focuses on the following areas: The diabetic foot (prevention of amputations)
Eye care (prevention of blindness)
Children with diabetes (prevention, education, treatment)
Mothers and diabetes (nutrition, prevention, education
The Coming Generation (primary prevention)
. Deadline for submission of the application form for this agency-20th February, 2010.
Budget- Rs. 10 crores.



2. USAID
It is an aid agency of Government of United States of America to support development activities by NGOs/Trusts in the area of Climate Change Adaptation & allied fields specific to rural areas of India.
Budget: A maximum of Rs. 10 crores (approximately).
Deadline for submission of the application form for this agency-6th June, 2010.



3. Global Fund for Women
The Global Fund for Women is an international network of women and men committed to a world of equality and social justice. We advocate for and defend women's human rights by making grants to support women's groups around the world.
The Global Fund makes grants to seed, strengthen and link women's rights groups based outside the United States working to address human rights issues that include:
• Ending Gender-Based Violence and Building Peace
• Ensuring Economic and Environmental Justice
• Advancing Health and Sexual and Reproductive Rights
• Expanding Civic and Political Participation
• Increasing Access to Education
• Fostering Social Change Philanthropy
Budget-Rs. 30 Lakhs.

5. Sevalnfo Helpdesk – Proposals Invited for Justice Innovation Fund(JIF)
A Justice Innovation Fund has been created with the aim of supporting innovation:
a) For creating legal awareness directly amongst members of marginalizes communities to enable them to seek justice,
b) For providing effective legal aid to people belonging to the marginalized communities,
c) To enhance capacities of civil society and community based organizations to assist marginalized communities access justice,
d) To initiate district level forum of government functionaries, human rights defenders and marginalized people to juistice,and
e) For preparation of innovative legal empowerment materials.
The Deadline for submission is 26 April 2010
